जीवनी
Rosemary Pauline West, along with her husband Fred West, committed some of the most horrific crimes in British criminal history. Their home at 25 Cromwell Street, Gloucester - dubbed the "House of Horrors" - was the site where at least 10 young women and girls were tortured, sexually abused, and murdered between 1971 and 1987.
Rosemary was born into a violent household. Her father was a diagnosed schizophrenic who physically and sexually abused his children. She was described as slow at school and socially isolated. She met Fred West when she was 15 and he was 27, and they married in 1972.
Fred had already murdered before meeting Rosemary, but together they developed a partnership in predatory violence. They targeted young women - including hitchhikers, lodgers, and their own children. Victims were held captive, subjected to prolonged sexual torture, murdered, and buried in the cellar, bathroom, and garden of their home.
Rosemary was also the primary abuser of their own children, subjecting them to severe physical abuse and sexual exploitation. She worked as a prostitute from the family home, and Fred used this to lure victims into situations where both could assault them.
The case broke open when police investigated abuse allegations from the West children in 1992. Excavation of 25 Cromwell Street in 1994 revealed the remains of nine victims. Fred West committed suicide in prison before trial. Rosemary was convicted of 10 murders in 1995 and sentenced to life imprisonment with a whole-life order - meaning she will never be released.
मनोवैज्ञानिक प्रोफाइल: ISFJ
Rosemary West demonstrates ISFJ cognitive functions corrupted into compliant participation in systematic torture and murder:
**Dominant Si (Introverted Sensing):** Her ability to maintain the routines of domestic life - cooking, cleaning, raising children - while simultaneously participating in torture and murder shows Si creating a terrifyingly "normal" container for horror. She maintained established patterns of abuse as though they were household routines.
**Auxiliary Fe (Extraverted Feeling):** Her skill at presenting a normal family facade to neighbors and social workers, and her ability to make victims feel initially safe before the abuse began, demonstrates Fe deployed for deception. She understood social expectations and performed normalcy convincingly.
**Tertiary Ti (Introverted Thinking):** Her participation in organizing the logistics of their crimes - managing the house, the lodgers, her prostitution business - shows Ti in a practical, organizational capacity.
**Inferior Ne (Extraverted Intuition):** Her complete inability to envision any life beyond her relationship with Fred, or to consider the moral implications of her actions from any outside perspective, shows profoundly undeveloped Ne. She remained locked in her established patterns with no capacity for moral imagination.
