Biography

Anders Behring Breivik committed the deadliest attack in Norwegian history on July 22, 2011. He first detonated a van bomb in Oslo's government quarter, killing 8 people, then traveled to Utøya island where he systematically shot and killed 69 participants at a Labour Party youth camp. Breivik had spent years planning the attack, creating a 1,518-page manifesto titled "2083: A European Declaration of Independence" that outlined his far-right, anti-Islamic ideology. He purchased weapons legally, trained with firearms, and established a fake farming company to acquire the materials for his bomb. During his trial, Breivik showed no remorse and used the proceedings to promote his ideology. He was sentenced to 21 years of preventive detention (Norway's maximum sentence) with the possibility of indefinite extensions if deemed a continued threat to society.

Psychological Profile: INTJ

Breivik demonstrates INTJ cognitive functions in service of extremist ideology: **Dominant Ni (Introverted Intuition):** His elaborate vision of a future "European civil war" and years of planning demonstrate powerful but distorted Ni. He constructed an entire worldview and timeline for civilizational conflict. **Auxiliary Te (Extraverted Thinking):** The systematic execution of his attack - the bomb construction, logistical planning, and methodical shooting - shows strong Te efficiency. His manifesto is structured like a military manual. **Tertiary Fi (Introverted Feeling):** His unwavering commitment to his personal values, regardless of societal judgment, reflects Fi. He genuinely believed he was a "knight" defending European civilization. **Inferior Se (Extraverted Sensing):** Despite his typically INTJ withdrawal from social life, he forced himself into Se engagement through physical training and the attack itself - demonstrating how inferior Se can emerge violently.
