Mark Sinclair, known professionally as Vin Diesel, was born on July 18, 1967, in Alameda County, California. He was adopted as an infant by Irving H. Vincent, a theater manager and acting teacher, and Delora Vincent, a psychologist and astrologer — his biological father's identity remained unknown to him until adulthood.
